WIP Wednesday: Three Quilts and Two Blocks

Milestone reached! I finished quilting the blue quilt top tonight.

Since fabric failed to magically materialize in my house today, I went out and bought some at Stitch Lab so I can bind both this quilt and its pink cousin.

Remember in my fantasy world, both of these quilts will be finished by Friday night. I want to check these off the WIP list!

Once they're done, that will free me in theory to work on my queen-sized Storm at Sea quilt.

In actuality, it will liberate me to make more English paper pieced Rose Star blocks with Selfsewn and friends. I got rid of the purple points that used to be on this start and substituted ones with a coral lattice pattern that plays nicely with the red Pezzy Print in the middle.

I started working on another Rose Star block while I was traveling over the weekend, but this is as far as I got.

Alright, it's back to crafts for me. I'm going to throw that binding fabric in the dryer and start pin basting this blue quilt.

I'm linking up with Freshly Pieced.

  2. I'm like you, I'm not sure which project to work on first. We just need more hours in the day. I love your blue and pink quilts. Good luck with your deadline!

  3. I love the storm at sew pattern. I made one years ago as like, my third or forth quilt. It didn't turn out so hot, and I have been thinking about doing a new one some day. Love all your fabrics! Good luck on getting them all finished!
