Sneak Peak

I've got a secret project in the works. It's bittersweet because I prefer to share the whole quilt making process as I'm going through it. The surprise of giving this away in a few weeks will be worth it, though. At the very least, I want to share the fabrics that I'm using. Yay!

The prints are all from the Backyard Baby line by Patty Sloniger for Michael Miller. I threw in some Kona and Moda solids as well. I'm super excited about this project. The fabrics in this line are really cute. I would have loved to include some of the fabrics with the bugs and snakes on them, but I took a more mature route. Rare for me . . .

Stay tuned for this one later in the month. In the meantime, I'll get to share some other projects with you while this one is underway!

Happy crafting this weekend!

  2. You're making me a quilt, yay! ;)
I have some of this fabric too, and I LOVE the bug jar print. I'll be making two picnic blankets for two sets of young twins that I know, but their birthdays aren't until the end of summer, so I won't get started on them for a while.
I'm excited to see how your project turns out!
